June CFS Club Meeting - Spectacular Success!!!!

Okay, maybe not spectacular but still really fun! I think there were like 12 of us, right? We almost all had chicken fried steak and we almost all enjoyed it. :) I'm just bummed I didn't stick with the grilled chicken sandwich I love so much... Oh well. The folks at Route 66 Diner are so great. They smiled as our table grew larger and larger and didn't say a word when we all ordered chicken fried steak. And, our waiter didn't even flinch when Sheila had to send her CFS back because they put gravy on it. You can't beat that service... Hope you all tipped well! :)

Topics covered today included...

*Orlando did his "CFS Virgin" presentation. Very insightful. We all clapped.
*The beautiful cities of Miami, Commerce and Welch, Okla.
*The joys of a credit union
*Starting a poker tournament, basketball tournament, golf tournament or perhaps having them all in one day
*Where to have CFS next... opinions included Ollie's, Charleston's, and somewhere else I don't recall
*Jeff's broken faucet
*Nicole and Jeff's car buying experiences
*$2 bills
*KFC Club
*Playing golf
*How fab the back room at Route 66 is

Those are the conversations I heard. If you'd like to add to the list, please feel free to submit a post.

We did miss those of you who were unable to attend... Kayte, Bailey (getting married next week), Cassie, Jesse, Stacey and Ryan (getting married this week in Cancun). If I've missed you, don't worry. We missed you too. Show up once in a while and I'll be able to remember next time.

I'll be back later this week with the date for next month's CFS Club meeting. In the meantime, please send in your suggestions for a phrase/quote/saying for our CFS Club shirts. :)

Have a great week!
Andrea

PS - Just a random thought for the day... Let local organizations and companies know when you think they're doing a good job - they always hear from the people who are pissed off so they'll enjoy getting compliments from you.

You better be glad that the Credit Union talk was out of my hearing...I mean how would you like to compete with someone who doesn't pay taxes?
