Shane's Special My Special Day
So last week's CFS club meeting was a bust. I was out of town. Jeff - the designated hitter for the CFS czar - was sick. Nicole was deep in the channels. Those that RSVP'd weren't there for unknown reasons. So no one went. Except for Shane. And anyone else who didn't know Shane and showed up too. So I'm SOOOOOOO very sorry. For those of you who said you'd be there, but didn't show, Shane is pissed. :)
Planning too far in advance just doesn't work for this group. So I'll spring it on you and see how we do...

This will be my special day because it's my annual birthday CFS club meeting. However, it will be Shane's special day because he was the only one of us dedicated enough to show up last week. This one's for you, Shane.

Yeah, I was sick like an animal last week. I don't think I crawled out of bed until 3pm on CFS day last. For those of you that haven't caught the bug going around: don't. It ain't fun, my coworkers are cursing me as I write for spreading it to them. Anyway, barring illness, injury, invasion, or natural disaster I'll see ya'll at the Press Club.

I will BE THERE!
I didn't have the flu or anything but my stomach was definitely not feeling like eating that day. I was at work, but couldn't get away either since I rolled in late that day. Anyway, excuses, excuses.

I'm so glad to be back on the list. Even though I have yet to attend an official cfc event. If my slave-driver of a boss lets me eat lunch that day - i'll be there. :)
