Recap from October CFS

hello friends

well i'm pretty bummed that i missed cfs club for the first time. i don't feel complete now and probably won't until november's meeting.

i know you all probably had fun - as much as can be expected at least, without me there. i know it was hard to go on, but i'm proud of your courage to continue without the czar. you're all very brave and you should be commended.

thankfully, nicole - the die-hard cfs clubber after my own heart - made notes from the meeting in october so i wouldn't feel quite as left out.
here are the discussion items... in her words...

If eating CFS is a requirement.
Went through a list of all the CFS we’ve tried over the last few months.
Whether Josh’s membership is valid if he’s in Oklahoma City
Dustin proposed starting a YFS at his house, but wants to keep it small so we can all fit in his living room. I’m taking a wine class next semester, so I volunteered to teach everyone as I learn. The topic fizzled soon after that.
The architecture districts in Tulsa.
The fact that Kayte and Seth are married.
The pronunciation of Cacoa.
Whether we should take advantage of Andrea’s absence and elect a new president. There were no takers since everyone feared overthrowing the dictator…
Next meeting will be on Nov. 22 at Metro Diner.

based on the notes, i just have a few things...

1. is josh moving to okc or just planning to visit there for cfs? if he's just visiting, can we all go? maybe we should have a cfsrtc - cfs road trip club - where we travel throughout OK and try cfs. josh - this might be a nice compliment to the beer booth documentary idea... i think we're on to something there.

2. sorry to hound on you josh, but get over the chocolate place. its just not natural to pay more for chocolate than you would for a meal. sorry. just don't get it. i'd rather have cfs. :)

3. you really talked about the spillmans being married? maybe that should be the leading news at every meeting... like, are the spillmans still married? how many months/days/hours have they been married right now? could be entertaining, i suppose.

4. dustin - i'm up for anything with wine. let's work on this in all our free time.

5. finally to comment on your discussion about overthowing me as president/czar/dictator/prime minister (i like that one)/chairman of cfs club... no. won't happen. discussion over.

also, in honor of my special week (yes, i have one and i celebrate it. you should too) there will be a special session of cfs club on wednesday, nov. 9, 11:30a at the tulsa press club. no presents necessary.

i look forward to seeing you all next month. again, i'm sorry i missed all your lovely faces at the last meeting.
